When the Silence Feels Heavy: God Has Not Left You

There are moments in life when faith feels less like strength and more like survival. You pray, but it feels like your words are hitting the ceiling. You believe, but your circumstances look like they are arguing against everything you know about God. You open your Bible, but the pages feel quiet.

And in those moments, the hardest question begins to rise quietly in the heart: “Is God still with me?”

That question is older than you think. Even David, a man after God’s heart, once cried out:

“My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?” — Psalm 22:1

This is important to understand: questioning the silence of God is not the same as losing faith in God. It is often where faith is being refined, not removed.
