ONHYM officials visited the United States in May 2026 seeking financing from the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) for the Moroccan segment of the Africa-Atlantic Gas Pipeline. Nigeria’s Finance Minister Wale Edun confirmed the US expressed interest.
