Seven international-led consortia were pre-qualified from an initial list of 17 respondents in January 2026. The Request for Proposals (RfP) is planned for the second half of 2026, delayed to coincide with the launch of the Credit Guarantee Vehicle (CGV). The seven corridors span 1,164km of 400kV lines with combined investment value of approximately $1 billion. The CGV is expected to become operational in 2026 to underpin the financing structure.
